SUMMARY:Expanding Your Prospect Management System Beyond Major Gifts by Ruthie Giles
DESCRIPTION:This session highlights the importance of broadening prospect management beyond major donors to include a wider range of prospects\, such as annual fund leadership\, donor engagement\, volunteer pipeline\, stewardship\, planned giving\, and future prospects. Ruthie will share practical strategies for adapting prospect management systems to accommodate these diverse groups\, whether you’re part of a large team\, small shop\, or working solo\, all while avoiding undue strain on staff. Time zone: Eastern Standard Time (EST) \n\n\n\nWhen we think of prospects\, we often focus on those capable of making significant contributions—whether it’s Major Gifts\, Principal Gifts\, or Transformational Gifts. However\, there are other types of prospects that would benefit from a custom tailored prospect management system. In this session\, Ruthie will explain how you can adapt your prospect management efforts to include a wider range of prospects – such as annual fund leadership gift prospects\, donor engagement prospects\, volunteer pipeline prospects\, permanent stewardship prospects\, planned giving prospects\, and future prospects. \n\n\n\nRuthie will discuss how you can do this – whether you are at a large shop\, small team\, or are a solo shop – giving you practical suggestions on how to ensure that various types of prospects are included – without overtaxing the prospect management staff.

SUMMARY:Chances Are—Understanding Probability of Giving and How to Improve the Odds
DESCRIPTION:In fundraising\, it is often difficult to calculate the probability that a given prospect will make a gift\, or the likelihood that our organization will reach a specific fundraising dollar goal. The usual measures used in identifying probability don’t always work when it comes to human activity\, and donative behavior is no different. \n\n\n\nDuring this presentation\, Dr. Gregory Duke will review several methods of identification of probability and identify which of these methods can give you a better understanding of your prospects’ likelihood to give. Dr. Duke will also use other measures of probability used in games\, sports\, medicine\, and nature to illustrate the depth and breadth of donor possibilities. Lastly\, Dr. Duke will demonstrate a technique to put all these together to create a predictive model of donor behavior over time.

SUMMARY:Using Probability to Enhance Your Fundraising Strategy
DESCRIPTION:Donor modeling isn’t always the last step in organizing your fundraising segments. Sometimes a donor with a $100\,000 capacity still belongs in your annual giving program. Learn how to use probability techniques like Nate Silver to segment your pool\, assess major or planned giving likelihood\, and understand how well your engagement activities work. \n\n\n\nJoin us for this Water Cooler Chat and discover how data-driven donor modeling can enhance your fundraising strategy. While traditional wisdom suggests sorting donors purely by capacity\, we’ll show you why that’s not always the best approach. \n\n\n\nLearn how to apply probability techniques like Nate Silver to better segment your donor pool\, predict giving patterns\, and measure engagement effectiveness. Using real-world examples\, we’ll demonstrate how to make smarter decisions about which donors belong in major gifts\, planned giving\, or annual fund programs – regardless of their giving capacity. \n\n\n\nAt Staupell Analytics Group\, we are committed to delivering the highest quality fundraising operations. That’s why we follow our FIT approach (Fix\, Innovate\, Teach) to develop tailored solutions for your specific operational needs. With our expertise in Fundraising Analysis & Reporting\, Prospect Development\, and Data Optimization services\, we’ll guide you utilizing your limited resources more effectively. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss this opportunity to connect with other professionals in the field and gain new ideas to improve the efficiency of your fundraising operations. SUMMARY:Beyond the Basics: Using RFM to Connect Engagement\, Annual Giving\, and Planned Giving
DESCRIPTION:We talk about RFM (Recency\, Frequency\, Monetary Value) as a powerful framework to understand and segment our donor pool. But here’s the challenge: we often think of RFM as a single measure or apply it in only one way. The reality is that RFM can be leveraged strategically across your entire fundraising operation — from engagement to planned giving — to create more meaningful donor relationships and drive better results. \n\n\n\nWhat if you could use RFM not just for annual giving appeals\, but to identify planned giving prospects\, nurture new donors into sustained engagement\, and coordinate messaging across teams? Join Marianne Pelletier for an exclusive sneak peek of her soon-to-be-released workbook\, From Engagement to Planned Giving: Five Ways that RFM Segments Across Your Fundraising Departments. \n\n\n\nAt Staupell Analytics Group\, we are committed to helping you build the highest possible quality fundraising operations. That’s why we follow our FIT approach (Fix\, Innovate\, Teach) to develop tailored solutions for your specific operational needs.
